Hands up who doesn’t feel as ‘tired’ today!!  100% most definitely me.

Mom wanted cereal and fruit for breakfast and that’s cool – she’s not doing the Whole 30 but she’s enjoying the meals as are we!  
There was no workout this morning so I had some extra time – and I still have a few vegetables and bits that need to be used out of the fridge.  Hash it is!

Breakfast – Meal One – Kumara (sweet potato) and Chorizo hash with a scrambled egg, red capsicum, coriander and lemon.  

We had arranged to meet Liora and Marty out at the Ruakura Berry Farm to go and pick our own.  Raspberries were on the menu today (I’m loving the fruit additions to even our savoury meals).  I’m pretty sure the rule goes 2 for me and 2 for the container. Right??? 

We got home and I had a nap. Not intentionally – but I lay down on the couch outside and it was warm and the sun was on my legs and that was that.

Late Lunch – Meal Two – Shredded Roast Chicken, Cucumber, Vital Immunity Slaw and a sprinkle of sunflower seeds.

We rounded off our day with another round of the Lake. My old mate decided we would log our fastest time so he basically dragged me around – no stopping for photos but also, not a lot of chatting 😀
I’m aware it probably sounds mean but I get a bit of a recharge from quiet time whereas he’s quite chatty. It can be hard to find a happy medium without me feeling like I am tuning him out. Probably too much information – or a story for another time.

Came on home, via the supermarket, to make dinner.
I had planned to grill some steaks as we have quite the freezer full of beef but they had a butterflied leg of lamb on special and I can’t go past a lovely piece of lamb. So while that was cooking, I made a start on the recipes I have been meaning to add for ages …

And then we ate. And I am stealing this photo off Ken cos that meat … oh yes, check out my meat!

Dinner – Meal Three – Butterflied Leg of Lamb with Smashed Salt & Vinegar Potatoes and Cucumber Slaw.

Early night tonight as tomorrow, we are back at F45! YAYYY!!
