Hallo team!!! How’s your 2018 going so far??

I spent the weekend with my oldest friend in the world – at a Yoga Festival.  And it was absolutely fantastic. But that’s a story for another post.
Driving home yesterday afternoon, I turned the music off and just spent some time in my head (concentrating on the road of course!) but processing some of the ideas and the images that had been flashing through my brain over the last 4 days.  And one of them was using my posts more – as wee journals.  They don’t have to be massive and they might only take me five minutes to write but I do love to write and throwing my thoughts into an entry actually help me work out what to do next. Or what not to do!!!

Last year I did a Time for Tea post and I loved reading all the responses and learning a little about you who tune into my posts – which have been very sporadic of late!  But in doing this, there are some super cool comments and a new lot of things for me to run off and Google.  I ask the 5 questions and then I answer them too.  And I respond to all of yours.

So here we go, here are my 5 questions, I’d love to read your answers in the comments below

What is one habit you have introduced or are trying to introduce into your life this year?
Whats the best book you have read lately?
Which of your physical features do you like the most?
If you had unlimited funds to build a house that you would live in for the rest of your life, what would the finished house be like?
Are you usually early or late?

I’m trying to be more of an adult this year.  Being responsible, accountable and real.  My first step is getting my sleep in order as 5 hours a night just isn’t cutting it for this old lady.  I’ve been taking magnesium in the evening – for about the last month – and I’m starting to see some quality of sleep benefits.  It also helps when I don’t try and watch too many episodes of Married At First Sight in a row.

At the end of last year I read Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine and its the book I always recommend when anyone asks. Loved the way it was written and the characters. I love that it caught me off guard and was so much better than I anticipated.

I like my shoulders.

I would have a large open kitchen dining area, a small lounge with a cosy corner to sit and read and a fireplace. A small bedroom for us (with a large wardrobe and an ensuite), a small guest room and a photography studio/office space. And another bathroom. I’d like the kitchen to be the centre and have that and the living room open to a deck covered in ivy or wisteria that basically functioned as an outside room. So pretty much the Zoo House, just remodelled a bit.

Usually late. I know I need to work on this.  I read today that people who are usually late are more creative.  We will go with that while I’m working on my issues.
